In Behalf of the members and directors of the Philippine Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Organizations (PHILTOBO), we wish to welcome everyone to the seventh staging of the annual PHILTOBO Gintong Lahi Awards, considered as the most defining day of recognition for the local horse racing industry's outsatnding performers.
Since its inception in 1999, the PHILTOBO Gintong Lahi Awards has become a much-anticipated ever for the industry's direct players, a special occasion and annual recognition wherein we fete our fellow industry participants and skateholders for their exemplenary accomplishments during the previous year.
Fittingly, we reserve our highest accolade to the superb equine athletes and producers who have left a lasting impact on the sport over the course of the previous year. Their achievements have certainly inspired many of us to aspire for higher goals in coming years
We should also commend the industry's generous sponsors and traditional benefactors for ensuring that outstanding performers in racing are given the opportunity to prove their mettle by providing the venue to showcase top quality racing competition.
Allow us to also take this opportunity to thank our fellow PHILTOBO Directors for their steadfast support of our programs and activities. It is to their collective credit that our organization was able successfully stage many high-impact projects that have more than enriched the state of horse racing and horse breedng in the country.
As we set to mark another busy year of horse racing activities, we wish all of our fellow stakeholders, benefactos and friends all the best and greater success in the days ahead
